WELCOME

Alan and Lee-Ann Thomas have been breeding functional Brahmans since the mid-1970s and were the first Brahman breeders to use IVF, in 2004.

Their strong commercial focus was established at 150 sq mile Yacamunda Station, Collinsville, where they turned off more than 2000 bullocks a year and found a ready market for 400 red and grey Brahman bulls, sold annually in the paddock and through the saleyards.

In 1987 they moved to Collins Creek at Beaudesert, taking only their best red cows and a new focus on breeding red Brahmans with plenty of scale, bone, muscle, length and placid temperament.

Topline stud was registered in 2000, replacing the Yacamunda prefix, and in 2005 the stud was relocated to Netley at Goovigen, to be closer to Australia's beef hub.

The well-respected stud, which has sold bulls to $27,500 in the paddock and to $21,000 at auction, is regretfully being dispersed in Gracemere on Monday, March 5, 2012, due to family health reasons.
